Our appointed administrators will work with you the benefit consultant to find the best solutions for our clients and will provide guidance how efficiencies can be created.

We work continuously to ensure processes are simplified for you and provide you with seamless integration with our systems.

We provide you the benefit consultant with a comprehensive Administration Report, that will enable you to better engage with your clients. Our data analytics provided will ensure that you have a great experience understanding your clients and how you can add value to the service chain.

At Umbra we believe that in terms of good governance, every Participating Employer should put in place a Management Committee. Ask us how this is done.

A Management Committee providing oversight with a independent benefit consultant would add value to the governance of the umbrella arrangement, as well as ensure effective day to day operations of the Fund.

At Umbra we look at providing choice, and if the Employer meets the criteria, we can look at any of the below options:

  • An ongoing administration fee
  • An ongoing administration fee with a percentage fee of assets under management; or
  • An ongoing asset under management fee.

Get in touch with us at Umbra, by sending us a quotation request on quotations@umbra.co.za. When getting in touch for a quotation, you need to provide us with the following important information:

  • Number of members on the Fund;
  • Current value of assets (where applicable);
  • Annual Salary information;
  • Different categories and contribution rates;
  • Breakdown of the insured risk premium:
    1. Inclusive of the costs on the Fund; or
    2. Exclusive of the costs on the Fund.
  • Providing a breakdown of all fees on the Fund, including the investment fee;
  • Confirmation of any asset-based fees being charged.

We believe in the model of independence, evident throughout our Fund. An independent benefit consultant allows for additional governance and oversight, ensuring that the Fund and all providers are continuously held accountable.
